Scenic Flights from William Creek

There is so much to experience in the South Australian Outback.

William Creek is the closest town to Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre North and the perfect place to base yourself for scenic flights over this spectacular salt lake and the colourful Anna Creek Painted Hills. It is also the gateway to the Simpson Desert and the departure point for scenic flights to Dalhousie Springs.

Flights can be booked with Wrightsair in William Creek, however we recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment!

Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre Scenic Flights

Whether dry or with water, this salt lake is best seen from the air! Covering a staggering 9,500 sq. km., this is the largest inland lake in Australia.

Anna Creek Painted Hills Scenic Flights

Previously only accessible by scenic flight and now exclusively by ground touring with Wrightsair, the Anna Creek Painted Hills are truly a wonder that has to be seen to be believed. Compared to the Bungle Bungle Range of Western Australia, these colourful hills are a natural spectacle.

Dalhousie Springs Scenic Flights

Located in the remote Witjira National Park on the edge of the Simpson Desert, Dalhousie Springs is a true oasis in the middle of the desert. Wrightsair has exclusive access to land just a short walk from the springs so you can avoid the rough Outback roads!
